Richard is the General Manager of the Commercial and Industrial Business Unit at MAB Corporation, responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of this business. Prior to joining MAB in October 2008, Richard was based in Sydney as the Group Executive of Commercial Development at Investa Property Group overseeing a $2.5 billion commercial and industrial development pipeline spread across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.

Richard has over 15 years experience throughout the property and development industry gained through construction and development roles at Multiplex, Industry Superannuation Property Trust and Investa. Richard holds bachelor degrees in Architecture (Hons), Building and Planning and Design from the University of Melbourne. Richard was a former member of the Property Council Planning and is a regular presenter at Property Council Development courses.

Andrew began his career in the quarry and asphalt industry. From 1974 to 1988 Andrew was Co-Managing Director of the Associated Quarries and Asphalts Group.

Andrew diversified into property development and in 1995 founded MAB Corporation with Michael Buxton. He has over 20 years experience in the property industry and is also the Managing Director of MAB Corporation.

Michael has over 40 years of experience in the property industry that commenced with property management and sales in his family's business, JR Buxton Pty Ltd. In 1976, Michael co-founded Becton Corporation and as Joint Managing Director built the company into one of the most successful property investment and development companies in Melbourne.

At the end of 1994, Michael sold his interest in Becton Corporation and in 1995 founded MAB Corporation with his brother Andrew. Michael is Executive Director of MAB Corporation.

David commenced with MAB in 2003 in the role of General Manager Business Parks and was responsible for a portfolio of industrial and mixed-use projects including National and Translink Business Parks and University Hill. More recently, David has been responsible for the Major Projects division with a key focus on the planning and delivery of Merrifield, MAB's 1,000 hectare mixed-use development.

Prior to commencing with MAB, David held a number of executive positions in middle ring and growth area local governments in the areas of property, planning and development, economic development and governance.

He is a member of the Urban Development Institute of Australia and the Victorian Planning and Environmental Law Association. David holds a Bachelor of Business, a Graduate Diploma in Management and has completed the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School 2011.

Mick commenced his career as a Chartered Accountant in Brisbane, then following several years in a London Chartered firm he joined Mobil Oil where he worked as Manager in International Corporate Audit (London), Manager General Accounting (Melbourne), Refinery Accounting Manager (Adelaide) and as CFO and Company Secretary of a road surfacing subsidiary which ultimately merged with CSR Road Surfacing to become the leader in the Australian marketplace.

In 1997 Mick joined Linfox as General Manager of Accounting and Administration. When Linfox acquired Armaguard in 2003 he became CFO and following numerous further acquisitions he became CEO of the Armaguard group in 2007.

Mick has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, strategy development/execution as well as general management particularly within finance disciplines.

Kevin was previously Chief Executive Officer of Mirvac Victoria (from 1994) and responsible for establishing the Mirvac brand and development business in Melbourne.

During this period, Kevin was instrumental in planning and delivering numerous successful landmark projects including, Beacon Cove, SY21, The Melburnian, Yarra's Edge, Waverley Gardens and The Heath.

In 2005, he established boutique developer KSK Property Group which, in conjunction with Walker Corporation and won the development rights to the renowned redevelopment of the former Kew Cottages site at Main Drive, Kew.

Kevin has an unrivalled track record in planning and delivering master planned, mixed use, inner city communities that were developed in conjunction with local and state governments and stakeholders. Kevin is a recognised leader in this field.

Luke Noonan joined the MAB team in December 2011 as General Manager Residential Land.

Luke has built an impressive career in the property development industry, most recently holding a Development Director role at VicUrban (now Places Victoria) between 2009 and 2011.

Prior to VicUrban, Luke held Project Director and Senior Development Manager roles at FKP (2007 - 2009), Cedar Woods (2006 - 2007) and the Dennis Family Corporation (2000 - 2006).

He has overseen numerous notable developments throughout Victoria including Saltwater Coast Point Cook, and the award winning projects Valley Lake and the Hunt Club, in Keilor East and Cranbourne respectively.

Luke has studied Civil Engineering, Urban Development and Management.

Nicholas Gray has over 35 years experience in the property industry, the last 30 of which have been in property investment and funds management. He is responsible for the overall management of the MAB FM operation.

Nick began his work in the UK from 1976 to 1985 and has been in Australia since then. He was Head of Property at Norwich Union and Norwich Investment Management from 1987 to 1998 and from 1996 to 1997 was also General Manager, Funds Management of GRW Property, a company controlled by Norwich.

In 1998, Nick was appointed Fund Manager of the Colonial First State Commercial Property Trust. In 2001 Nick joined MAB to establish its property funds management operation.

Sonia has worked with Andrew and Michael Buxton since August 1993, initially employed as Director of Sales and Marketing for Southbank Business Centre and then as General Manager of SecurAway Self Storage.

Sonia is currently the General Manager of Docklands Apartments Grand Mercure, as well as MAB Property Management Group.

Her professional background includes business analysis, design, construction, business management, marketing, sales and staff recruitment.

Sonia has won numerous industry awards throughout her career including a multiple recipient of the REIV Award for Excellence.

Rod Appleby commenced his role of General Manager - Project Management at MAB in November 2011.

With over 24 years of construction experience Rod has held senior construction roles with a number of commercial building contractors including Reed Group (2011), APM Group (2008 - 2011), Hansen Yuncken (2006 - 2008), Abigroup (2002 - 2006) and Baulderstone Hornibrook (1988 - 2002).

During his 24 year career thus far, Rod has worked on such notable projects as Waterfront City ($370M) Chevron Hotel Redevelopment ($95M), Watergate Place Apartments ($100M), Austin Repatriation and Mercy Hospital Redevelopment ($405M), QP1 Distribution Centre - NSW ( $65M ) and Myer Direct Distribution Centre ($25M).

Rod has a deep appreciation of what it takes to successfully deliver projects of varying sizes across a broad cross section of industry sectors. Rod holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from Monash University.
