The former Port Stanvac Oil Refinery site will be transformed into a new, master-planned precinct providing lifestyle and employment choices in the south of Adelaide.
MAB’s proposal will breathe new life into one of the most beautiful coastal locations in southern Adelaide. The site will be remediated and opened to the public for the first time, providing significant enjoyment and amenity for both the proposed and surrounding community.
With strategic connections to the foreshore, McLaren Vale and Adelaide, this new residential and working community will also benefit from the delivery of a critical link of Coast Park, connecting 70km of shared path along the coastline from North Haven to Sellicks Beach.
The site will enable a beautiful and unique part of the South Australian coastline to brought back to life and opened to the community. Unlocking this site will reduce pressures on the edges of Adelaide including within McLaren Vale for residential growth.
