Construction begins – Peppercorn Apartments

University Hill at Bundoora continues to lead the way in mixed-use development, with MAB announcing the start of construction at its latest residential project.

Peppercorn Apartments will overlook the  leafy Princeton Park and be MAB’s fourth  and final residential addition to the award-winning development.

MAB General Manager Richard Johnston says after eight years of development, MAB remained committed to the ongoing growth
and success of the University Hill community.

“The fact that the northerly views from the Peppercorn Apartments will never be built out is typical of the detail and the innovative approach to planning we have taken here,” said Mr Johnston.

“Well planned developments like University Hill have allowed the City of Whittlesea to successfully manage the region’s population growth – the second biggest growth area in Australia.

“We want residents at University Hill to be part of a community with great infrastructure and services close by. Much of our vision has been achieved, with the area already home to 1,200 residents and employing upwards of 1,500 people,” says Mr Johnston.

This latest development has been designed by Bower Architecture and boasts stunning open plan designs and high quality fittings.

Peppercorn Apartments will feature its own café and will be built on three levels so the majority of dwellings can enjoy the north facing views across the park.

As well as all the cosmopolitan features of the area, Peppercorn residents will enjoy easy access to the Town Centre, Uni Hill Factory Outlets, a child care centre, medical centre and gymnasium.

MAB has appointed the construction company, Buildcorp Commercial to construct the one and two bedroom apartments.

Buildcorp Commercial has commenced construction and the Peppercorn Apartments are expected to be completed by April 2014.

Peppercorn Apartments are located at the corner of Chancellor Avenue and McMaster Walk, University Hill, Bundoora and start at $335,000.
