Escala NewQuay and Merri Northcote Win at 2022 UDIA Victoria Awards for Excellence

We are delighted to have received two awards from the esteemed 2022 UDIA Victoria Awards for Excellence last week.

Escala NewQuay received the High Density Development Award and Merri Northcote won the Marketing Excellence Award.

Comprising 173 apartments, 1,200 square metres of office space and four ground floor shops, Escala was designed by celebrated Melbourne architects, Six Degrees.  A key feature of this project is MAB’s innovative Loft apartment designs that include 4.5-metre-high ceilings with a flexible mezzanine level above the kitchen.  Six Degrees brings detail and artisan flourishes to Escala including their signature, stained glass windows which adorn the ground floor, lift lobbies and residential bathrooms.

The Marketing Excellence Award recognised Merri Northcote’s collaborative approach with local branding and design agency The Company You Keep.  Resulting in the creation of a compelling brand to communicate the vision of Merri with clarity, originality and authenticity across all touch points in the customer journey.
