Land sale at MAB’s University Hill

Six industrial development sites at MAB Corporation’s University Hill project have now been released for sale by expressions of interest.

Expected to appeal to owners-occupiers and developers, the sites are commanding a starting price of $900,000.

General Manager, University Hill Project, David Hall said decisions by key corporates, such as Siemens VDO and Primus Australia to locate at the park had underlined the attraction to a new concept in mixed-use development.

“University Hill is one of the most innovative mixed-use precinct developments ever undertaken in Melbourne,” Mr Hall said.

“The development combines a town square, a traditional street based retail centre, state-of-the-art business precincts and landscaped public open spaces.

“In addition, University Hill is ideally located on the corner of Plenty Road and the Metropolitan Ring Road, within close proximity to the newly-opened Craigieburn bypass and within 30 minutes of the Melbourne Airport, CBD and the Port.”

According to David Herschell Business Development Manager for MAB Business Parks, the sites available opposite the Siemens VDO headquaters are relatively flat sites with a north-south orientation, underground services and excellent access for all types of vehicles.

Situated in Melbourne’s fast-growing northern corridor, University Hill is well-serviced by public roads and infrastructure making all parts of Melbourne within easy reach.
