MAB’s construction boom – $400 million in projects – and rising

The positive outlook for the company is reflected in the level of construction activity across the residential, commercial and industrial sectors with the value of projects under construction
nudging $400M.

MAB continues to establish new standards for how we live, work and play in Melbourne with its continuing roll out of the mixed-use
NewQuay project in Melbourne’s Docklands through to the provision of urban infrastructure at the 1,200 hectare Merrifield development which is being planned as a new city for Melbourne.

The diversity of the construction programme reflects the dynamic nature of the business and includes the $180M HarbourOne residential tower which will be the home for 400 new residents at NewQuay, the Moorabbin Affordable Housing project being eveloped with Port Phillip Housing Association, through to the creation of
the Orbis Business Park in Melbourne’s West.

The building activity is high and the pipeline of new projects is increasing as MAB gears up for an expansion of its development activity in 2010/2011.
