The excitement around the success of Uni Hill Factory Outlets continues with retail giant Nike set to re-open its doors to the public, in a brand new position within the outlet centre.
The Nike Factory store, which has relocated to a new, larger site, will reopen on Thursday 23 August, just in time for Father’s Day. The new outlet, which is more than double the previous store’s size, is set to make Uni Hill home to the biggest Nike Factory Store in Melbourne.
Nike Pacific Retail Director Dallas Boland said, “We are delighted to be opening Melbourne’s largest Nike Factory Store at Uni Hill Factory Outlets. We are relocating from a 400m2 store to a new 1,037m2 location so at approximately 2.5 times its current size, this will deliver a bigger and better range of product to enhance our consumer experience.”
Uni Hill Factory Outlets Centre Manager Marina Vitali also welcomes the addition of the new Nike Factory Store, which has been one of the most popular outlets amongst shoppers in recent times.
“When shoppers visit Uni Hill Factory Outlets, they will find an impressive line-up of international, national and local brands. Having Melbourne’s largest Nike Factory Store at the centre further strengthens the line up.”
Big brands such as Decjuba, Politix, Birkenstock, Simone Perele, Tony Bianco, Skechers and Jetty Surf are also playing their part in attracting shoppers to the factory outlet in Bundoora
“Monthly sales figures were up 49 per cent in July when compared to last year, and foot traffic was up 23%. This is a great result,” Ms Vitali said.
Also opening this week at Uni Hill Factory Outlets is Australian womenswear retailer Unik. With beautiful garments made from local fabrics, Unik offers a mix of evening and daywear and is excited to open its sixth retail outlet at Uni Hill.
To celebrate the arrival of these new stores, Uni Hill will be putting on an exciting array of activities for shoppers on Saturday 1 September, including an appearance by the Nova Casanovas and special Father’s Day offers from the likes of Politix, Birkenstock, Russell Athletic, Gloweave and Fila.
