450 New Homes to Be Completed and Two New Project Launches!

With plenty of activity across our residential project sites in 2024, this year will be a very active one for the MAB team as we work towards delivering more than 450 new homes.

This year will bring two new residential projects to market located in Canterbury and Preston. It’s an exciting time for the business as we look to bring more design-led, sustainable homes to Melbourne.

Preston Crossing

Q1 2024

In quarter one of this year, we’ll begin welcoming residents into the completed stages of the first Preston Crossing neighbourhood at Oakover Road. Starting from early April, doors will open to the Nightingale homes by Breathe Architecture, the HousingFirst apartments by Hayball and the townhouses by Archier. New residents will enjoy a lush, landscaped public realm and pocket park, designed by TCL, all while having access to the recently completed public spaces next door as part of the Bell Station redevelopment.

Archier Stokes Penola – Artists Impression

Q2 2024

With construction well progressed on the remaining stage of the Preston Crossing Oakover neighbourhood, we now look forward to the first release within the second Preston Crossing neighbourhood, Stokes Penola. Consisting of 35 family sized townhouses designed by Archier, this exciting release follows the first series of Archier townhouses delivered at Oakover. Located on the western side of St Georges Road, Stokes Penola comprises five stages, with both townhouses and apartments to be delivered in the masterplan.

Finally in this quarter, MAB will reach a significant milestone – the 25-year anniversary of NewQuay, Docklands. One of MAB’s legacy projects, NewQuay’s waterfront location stretches along the northern shore of Victoria Harbour where we have delivered in excess of 3000 homes, as well as retail and commercial spaces.

MAB Canterbury – Artists Impression

Q3 2024

In quarter three, MAB is planning to launch its first residential project in the exclusive inner-east Melbourne suburb of Canterbury. Comprising 34 two- and three-bedroom apartments designed by Jackson Clements Burrows Architects, these homes are exemplified by generous spaces, contemporary interiors and leafy outlooks. Be sure to keep a look out for further information on this exciting new project coming soon. Register your interest in MAB Canterbury here.

The second half of 2024 will also see delivery of the first stage at Academy North Melbourne, designed by McBride Charles Ryan. Incorporating 17 four-bedroom townhouses and HousingFirst apartments, this completion is an important milestone with new residents and the neighbouring North Melbourne Primary School community interacting for the first time. Just one townhouse remains – if you’d like to speak to a Sales Consultant, please click here.

Towards the end of quarter three, we’ll also see an important construction event at Merri Northcote – the structure top out. With construction progressing on site, we look forward to this achievement as our construction partner, Brady, works towards project completion in mid-2025.

Tempo Box Hill

Q4 2024

As the end of 2024 approaches, we will achieve yet another major milestone with the completion of Tempo Box Hill. Also designed by our friends at Hayball, Tempo will usher in a new standard of architectural excellence in Box Hill, which is quickly shaping as one of Melbourne’s most prominent activity centres. Already a highly successful project with more than 80% of apartments sold, we look forward to welcoming our first residents.
