New Publix sets opening date for new retail centre in Gallatin

A Publix grocery store is scheduled to open Dec. 8 as the anchor of a new retail center in Gallatin with additional tenants also announced.

The Shops at Windsong is part of a mixed-use development that will take up nearly 80,000 square feet at the northwest corner of State Route 109 and South Water Avenue.

The new Publix store is about 48,000 square feet.

Also announced at the Shops of Windsong, according to Brian Forrester, senior vice president of retail services at Colliers International in Nashville are:

Deca Dental
Great Clips
Japan House
Noire Nail Bar

The additional tenants would likely open in the first quarter of 2022, Forrester estimated.

The Windsong shopping center includes 31,550 square feet of small shop space and eight out-parcels. A self-storage operator purchased one outparcel earlier this year, Forrester said.

Other potential tenants are either under contract or in various stages of negotiation for other outparcels, but there are still some available, Forrester said.

Discussions also continue for a variety of potential tenants for available small shop space, Forrester said.

The project is being developed by MAB American Management. Forrester and Woody Widenhofer with Colliers International are leasing the project.
